what is reflexology ?
Reflexology is a specialised form of massage
applied to reflex areas on the feet or hands which helps restore
and maintain the body's natural equilibrium and encourages the
body to heal itself.
Following illness, stress, injury or disease,
the body is in a state of "imbalance", and vital energy
pathways are blocked, preventing the body from functioning effectively.
Reflexology helps to remove these blockages.
Reflexology is also
a deeply relaxing and detoxifying treatment. It can be effective
for a wide range of conditions but can also be preventative by
strengthening all of the body’s systems.

what to expect
A reflexology treatment lasts for about 1 hour. You will be made
comfortable on a reclining chair, treatment couch or a footstool may be used. Your feet will be cleansed at the start of
the treatment and then a variety of reflexology techniques will be
used, adapted to suit your individual needs.
During the treatment a deep state of relaxation is likely to be
induced.
One treatment is deeply relaxing, rebalancing and detoxifying,
but 4-6 sessions may be recommended to treat a particular condition.
what do I need to wear
As it is just the feet or hands that are being worked on, you remain
fully clothed; simply removing shoes and socks.

The more she learnt about reflexology the more fascinated she became and deceided to change her career path. She embarked on a two year training course in Reflexology and Anatomy and Physiology where she recieved a distinction from the International Therapies Examination Council.
Samantha saw the benefits that her children obtained from reflexology from birth upwards and loves the calming effect it now has on them in their toddler times! Infact the versatility of reflexology for all ages is fascinating . She has moved back to South Devon, where she grew up, to be closer to her family.
